Pet Obesity Clinic Opens

The School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University has opened the first American pet obesity clinic. The clinic has three board certified veterinary nutritionists on staff. These veterinary specialists will help pet owners implement weight loss plans for overweight pets.

The clinic hopes to serve at least 600 clients per year by 2015.
